Many thanks to Pierre, Adam, Tammy, Dale, Tom, Ross, Andrea and James for
all your input!
1 vote for enhydros, 5 for better insect views, and 1 invaluable method to
keep the enhydros and still get a better view of the insects from Andrea
Paysinger: cut-down windows over the portions of amber containing insects.
GENIUS WOMAN! Why the heck didn't I think of that? *Slaps forehead* I've got
all these diamond burrs that I bought only to find that I can't carve amber
to save my life, but I'm sure I can use them to cut simple windows, as well
as surgically remove the cracks (which may threaten to split the piece,
should they grow). You guys are fantastic!
