Yes you are right, the paleotologist doesnt know the real age and has many tests ect to do.as for the deposit, I have found lignit but futher exploration is needed in all areas.
The '' resin ''  is proving to be amber but of what age?..yet to be determined.

  Very interesting, and the photos look very nice.  I do wonder how the paleontologist quoted in the article can surmise so much (age of the amber, where the deposit is located, etc.) without really checking things out.  And if indeed it is 4 million yrs old, is that amber?  Here we go with the old debate again!
