Arlie, I really like that necklace!  If that is amber, it's beautiful.  But, 
your photos aren't of a quality that we can judge if it's amber or not, and 
there is still the issue of being able to hold the piece in your hand, put it 
under a scope and run the simple tests to evaluate it.  Of course it's possible 
it's amber, but they could also be plastic.  If you tell us where you are, 
perhaps we could recommend someone to eyeball evaluate them for you.
