Will do. Wasn't a bead that chipped, it was a small bit (.02"x.006") off the triangular piece which separates the strings of beads. Chipped off right where the string goes into a hole. Probably enough to do the tests.

I also bought a spider inclusion which, when I compare it to all the photos you all have posted here and on your websites, looks authentic to me.

  take the chipped piece and put it in acetone. should not dissolve. if it does not dissolve, burn it. it should light readily and burn with black smoke. it is rare for a high quality amber bead to break as you have indicated. copal?  glen
