That's where I found out about the Amber Assoc. of Poland Certification
seal. (I love the way the tree is done with the amber kind of dripping
off)... You would have to scroll down the list to see the seal of approval.

Hello Snowrose,

I am not familiar with a "Amber Association of Poland and Russia." There is
an International Amber Association in Poland. It would be best if you copied
the address of the e-Bay page you were viewing and included it in your post
for us to see.

Amber comes in most any size you want... just that the price changes as the
size goes up.
You can certainly get what you are after.

Hello there!

I received several private emails. I do not think it made it to the list
because if it made it to the list, I'm sure it would have automatically gone
to the list and not directly to me.

OK... I've been seriously looking at amber (low prices of course because of
what I do)... I do extensive beading as I've stated in my first post to the
list. I'm starting to work with micro-macramé and I am not entirely sure how
it will work with amber. I'm wondering if there's any such thing as a donut
amber, about 2 1/4" to 2 3/8" circumference?

I do not yet do macramé/crochet bracelets with the finest silver (28 gauge
to 26 gauge) just yet. But, a very lovely friend of mine makes them with
amber. I'm sure they are not authentic amber.... I will provide you with her
website... I am very interested in making the same thing with very specific
metal and authentic amber... Whilst I go nuts over the various shades of
'honey' amber colors, I also like the greens and especially the reds. The
reds is just indescribable... I can just envision some of my work already
with various ambers. Even using white (if it can ever be found, and if
found, polished and sold... it's going to cost without question!!...) But
this would not be for sale... I don't sell my work... I tend to keep my art
very private. But if I'm begged and prodded... I really need to think about
it because I only do work that's strictly heirloom quality and ooak pieces.

Anyhow... I was at eBay on Tuesday and typed in the search area: Baltic
Amber.... I'm learning Baltic simply means the region in where the amber was
excavated from... Lithuania/Poland... Do not quote me on this as I'm only
going from what I read. I haven't read it since yesterday and my memory is
just not sharp at all.
But... interestingly enough.... towards the bottom of the umm... eBay site,
there's a Gold/Olive color embossed letters of Amber Association of Poland
and Russia. Thing I do NOT see is a SquareTrade SideBar (which is what I
rely on often).
Whenever anyone sees the Seal of approval, Would you trust it enough to
purchase from the seller?

I look forward to learning from you all!
Snowrose
