termites in Chiapas amber are the most common insect found, but a well displayed specimen is worth some money. the value is in the size as most people can see a termite without a lupe, also this depends on the cut of the piece. a fossil can multiple its value tenfold with a good cut. you can compare your insect wiyh prices on websites, mine is www.amberbug.com  my prices are only my own assumption based on availability and quality. glen
