Glad to see you're back Tom. Any good amber finds?
I believe you're absolutely right with regard to the degree of
ploymerization. As a wise person once said, 'some amber is copal and some
copal is amber'.
One more factor in the polymerization process would be the medium in which
the resin is surrounded.
