Amber Listserv / Damselfly in Mexican amber?

Tammi,

this Damselfly in Dominican amber was on dispaly at the AMNH in NYC, it is 
owned by a private collector in Europe, I had the please of examining his 
collection several years ago, very nice stuff.

Complete Damselflies in DR amber are fairly rare, but not as rare as 
frogs, many instances of just Damselfly wings in DR amber. I myself have 
found 1 Damselflies in DR Amber. Adam's inclusion is most likely a male 
Chironomid.

WOW!!!  How cool!!!  Thanks for sharing the photo!  I've never seen one in 
amber before.
