Amber Listserv / the baltic shoulder curve

I'm looking for somebody who can perform a test on a slice of amber for me, to proove that it is real Baltic amber, and not dominican.
David Grimaldi writes me concerning this technique: > The Baltic amber (succinic acid) shoulder is readily recognizable in FTIR,

However, I don't know where in wich wavelength range the 'Baltic shoulder curve' should be visualized. Who can help me?
