A few weeks back you sent a couple of pictures of unidentified insects.
I saw that little 'ant' on National Geographic last evening. It was
being shown as one of two critters, supposedly extinct. One was a spider
that had been previously found in amber and the other was an ant. It had
the same large antenna. They called it 'SARAPICKIE', or that is the
closest spelling. The spider they simply called 'archiad', and were
excited about finding a 'living fossil'. The ant was a weird little
critter that preyed only on spider eggs. It too was from a very old
species thought to be lost in time.. The show was about
insects/arachnids on Madagascar. A place that time has evidently stood
still for millennia. SUZ
