She says the photo isn't blurry, Tammi. If in the cd or whatever, it looks
sharper, then it should be ok.

John, I'm sure you know that most of us appreciate tree resins in all their
forms, ugly or not. I'm not looking for pretty pictures and I've posted some
photos of downright fugly resins before. What I'd like is to be able to know
how the stuff that's written up looks like in real life, not as an Ansel
Adams photo (those have a magic all of their own). The cd is a good
compromise between price and quality of content, IF the photos are sharp.
Blurry images at native resolution tend to give one a headache when viewed
for prolonged periods.

In our digital age, another cost-cutting measure to make a publication even
more affordable to the consumer is the E-book. Hi-resolution color digital
photos may be included with the text. Of course, the decision to release a
book in that format would be directly tied to anticipated demand. I for one
would not mind owning both the physical print versions and electronic
versions should the quality of the contents justify it.
