Hi everyone,
On the end I received answer from eBay to my request about fakes from
Chinesse sellers.
Please read below:
''Dear Saulius,
Thank you for writing eBay in regard to reporting a seller.
We will investigate the seller and review every reported listing for
violations of our Potentially Infringing Items Policies. If we
determine that a seller's listing violates eBay policy, we may:
- send the seller an informational alert
- remove their listing
- suspend the seller's account
Generally, accounts are suspended only when sellers repeatedly disregard
policy. Due to eBay's privacy policy, we cannot share with you any
specific action taken by eBay with respect to another seller nor their
listings.
If a seller's listing does not appear to violate eBay policy, we may
refer it to the intellectual property rights owner for review. If the
rights owner has a good faith belief that the listing infringes their
rights, they may choose to send eBay a formal request to remove the
listings.
We thank you in advance for your cooperation, and wish you success with
your future eBay transactions.
Sincerely,
eBay Customer Support

Subject: Fakes listed on eBay
Hello,
Why do you allow eBay members from China to sell faked artificial
"Baltic
fossil amber"? Titles and descriptions tell that it is "rare, genuine
fossil
amber" totally wrong. . All these items are listed in category:
Collectables
> Rocks/ Fossils/ Minerals > Fossils > Insects/ Amber. There are
hundreds
of such listings. Seems to be that eBay becomes the best legal market
place
to sell fakes as real products.
Best regards,
Saulius Urbonas''
Would be nice to know what do you think about this ''kind explanation''
without any action.
All the best,
Saulius
