I notice on a certain website that Burmite is said to be the finest jewelry-quality amber 
this just simply isn't true
their is very little amber that I have not worked  and they all have their strengths and weaknesses depending on the project
I find this statement to be the equivalent  to stating that oil pant makes better art than water color when its down to the artist 
and the effect you are trying to achieve
hear are some photos of some old inferior amber pieces I made I would like to see this effect achieved in burmite
