Amber Listserv / color changes of amber

Please look at these color changes in this piece of dominican amber after I gave it a mega dose of X-rays (5.9 kiloGray).
There is a darkening, deeper colors and sometimes a tendens to greenish. I wonder if blue amber can be made this way, colored diamonds are certainly possible but than I have to swith the machine to 10 million kV.
