Hi Group,

I checked out an item by a Chinese seller who forged Ron Buckley's eloquent description of the rarity of Burmite for his own sale of fake amber. So I decided to ask him the question of how come he managed to get his hands on one piece of Burmite containing 3 complete dragonflys (which is about as rare as finding a male aphid). And here is his response:

Dear Mark: This amber comes from a Burma businessman, he collected many ambers, he told me that this is seldom, I have never seen a so perfect insect, but why have 3, I think, this is the god's arrangement. Thanks
yours

Quite funny really, these guys would try to sell a pair of binoculars to a blind man.

Mark
