Amber Listserv / Wrinkled bubble

Guys, could it have been a very fragile pod of some kind? One that when the resin overtook it and filled it, that the resin filled in the form, wrinkles and all? Or perhaps a pollen grain? I wonder if a collapsed or dried water bubble would really leave such a pattern. I would think dehydration would cause more cracking than folds or wrinkles.

Andy:
This is a neat find. I have a fairly substantial termite collection. Many times termites had a lot of gas escape them when they became entombed in the amber. These bubbles often have odd shapes, but never wrinkled. (Often the bubbles are liquid filled) I have many that even have a color to the liquid. My point is, perhaps this did not start as a water bubble, but rather something that contained water originally. Over time, the liquid remained. Do you have a size of the bubble? This might help. Just my 2 cents. Thanks for sharing a neat photograph.

Hi guys,
Anyone ever seen a wrinkled bubble like this? The ones I encounter have always been smooth, till now. This was found in golden yellow transparent Borneo amber of 2.5-3.0 hardness on the Moh scale.
