hey tammi
they don't irradiate amber I was just joking around
the piece cant be cut so it will stay dark blue
their is no such thing as blue amber its just a spectral affect cased by ether dark inclusions or in this case cutting a face with the dark skin at no less
than 80 degrees the same affect can be done with dark red that is why you cant find skinless blue amber if you happen
to see a photo of some its either taken on a black background or has a black background just out of frame
in which case any clear amber would look blue
this dose exclude dark included amber witch comes with its on black back background
you will note that when you see blue for sale that it is almost always raw chunks with just the smallest window this is to take maximum
benefit of this affect but what you are really buying is yellow amber with dark skin
and when you get it home to make cabs out of it you end up with yellow cabs
I know I wont be making any friends with blue amber dealers but if any one could send in a unaltered photo of skinless blue amber
that's not included or on a black background I would like to see it
to be fare I do sell blue amber but I tell my clients that it is a spectral effect and is for display and not lapidary
hear is a photo of red that I have made look blue by keeping the skin at gust the right angle
as for the fellow selling blue Dominican my hat goes off to you your website is very honest and gives its customers
a real description of what blue amber is and what to expect
