I have over 1100 chunks of rough amber that appear contain insects, and need
a way of looking inside them to determine which ones are most worthwhile to
work on first. Can anyone tell me if it's feasible to have them x-rayed so
as to see clearly what's inside?
It'll take me at least 2,200 man-hours to plough thru that lot if I were to
work on them one piece at a time. I'd rather work on the more
unusual/fragile specimens first, and leave the less important pieces for an
apprentice to do.
Any info on amber's 'photographic' effects when x-rayed would be much
appreciated. Thanks!
Andy
