Just went over the Dominican, 30 out of 32 provinces were affected. 25
deaths so far, but more bodies are exposed by receiding waters of Rio Yaque
del Norte, the main river. Santiago has no power, no water. Mud slides and
avalanches are the main danger.
I thought this info might make us more appreciative of how hard life is for
the folks that dig for amber- when they can.
And this was a late storm, after the season for cyclones ended.
