Hi guys,

The monsoon season seems to have arrived early in Borneo. Have been hit by
howling winds and torrential sheets of rain for the past 2 hours. As the sky
was pouring down on me, I finished polishing these pieces (3 rosary heads,
capsule beads etc). The lathing is still not 'crisp' enough, but it will be
improved, and custom rubber sanding blocks (more like V and U-shaped blocks)
will have to be used for precision-finishing the concave parts. Given a few
more months and the likelihood of producing carved chess sets en masse will
be a reality! :-)
