Amber Listserv / ship and castle

Since I have not shared with you any details on my trip to Ambermart fair in
Poland yet, I thought this may be liked by many. I have not seen this form
of art in amber previously, it is not a cameo as such, the piece of amber is
solid. This 3-D image is done entirely thru the bottom of the piece of
amber. It is sold by weight- this is the smallest one I could find, less
than 1 1/2 inch (34mm) wide at the bottom.
I would say that the large magnification of the picture takes away the
illusion, these pieces look very very fine on a shelf.
What do you think?
