Apologies for the large attachments. Those of you on dial-up please don't
hate me! I wanted to present the details on the crust of this 3.7kg chunk,
hence the large photos. It seems to have taken the impression of fine lines
of sand that had water seeping thru it at a decent rate. The bottom of this
piece has impressions of the layer of silt/mud that it rested on. Small
chipped areas on the piece show a white/butterscotch color inside. This was
carefully dug out by hand. Am going back there tomorrow for more!

PS Sorry Tammi, no site photos yet. I only have 1 camera and if that's
dropped into the water or damaged, I'm crippled. Will be getting a better
more 'professional' digicam soon, so I can risk my old Nikon in the jungles
then.
