AHA! Johnno's back! Hope you had a good trip to the amber capital of the
world.
You're probably right John, it's the impression of the tree. Those lines are
way too regular to be just sand/soil marks. Seldom do I find pieces that
have imprints on the crust. Was dog-tired and muddy just now...the thought
of tree-prints never crossed my mind. After a good shower and dinner, I took
a closer look at the piece and it sure looks like impressions of wood fiber.
