Tom, remember the chaos theory.? Just because we could do it, doesn't mean we should do it.??In the words of the illustrious yet ficticious Dr. Ian Malcolm, dinosaurs went extinct for a reason.? I believe in this.? I don't want us messing with DNA or bringing back something long dead.? We have no idea what the consequences may be.

I saw it.?It puts forward a very intriguing idea....retro-engineer a dinosaur by playing with the DNA of a modern bird. Way easier than trying to?build one from fragments of 70 myo DNA. I can hardly wait! But hold on a second....how will we know which genes to turn off? Will the result be a?real dinosaur or merely what we?BELIEVE a dinosaur looked like?
